The Firmness of the Law

Kevin DeYoung had a brief, but helpful, illustration of why C. S. Lewis loved the law of God. There is a firmness about walking in the ways of the Lord, the ways that he has laid out for his children, that brings security and comfort. The law of God plays an important part in Scripture, particularly the Psalms. As readers of the Bible, we must ask: how do we view the law? What do the commands of God mean to us? Do we love the law?
